Make sure that the new laptop is not with USB3. I uninstalled clnnection drivers, plugged the camera in, went through Control Panel, Hardware, found the camera in the hardware list it had that question eoa next to itright clicked and chose update driver.

Would the camera having a low battery stop it from working? This is not a malfunction.

How can I connect my EOS 350D to my PC to capture images?

Currently I connected my camera to the PC with the supplied USB cable, and installed drivers, but all I seem to be able to do is Import the pictures direct to Photoshop without swapping the card. The annoying wos is that i installed the same driver on my old laptop and it works fine!
The connections may not operate correctly.
